Battle of supremacy!

         Clinical victory!

Ind vs Eng t20 series lived upto it’s bargain and delivered a riveting contest. There was hard hitting, clean drives and never give up attitude on display from both the sides, throughout the series. India clinched the series, thanks to a stupendous century from Rohit Sharma and an all round performance from Hardik Pandya, in the series decider. While Rohit have registered another record in the annals of cricket, equaling Colin Munro’s record of most centuries in t20 internationals, Hardik had registered his career best figures. Put into bat by Virat kohli, England openers gave a blistering start  scoring 100 in 9 overs. With no kuldeep in the side, the Indian bowlers struggled to stifle or take wickets on what is a batting paradise. Debutant Siddarth Kaul drew the first blood, taking the wicket of in-form Jos Butler. With Roy falling prey to another debutant Deepak Chahar, England batting floundered as the middle order did not capitalise on the blitzy start. Chasing a total of 199, India never looked out of shape. With handy contributions from kohli and hardik complementing Rohit’s pleasing century, India easily chased the target in 18.4 overs. Rohit is adjudged as the Player of the match and player of series. What lies ahead? ODI series between these two teams starts on 12th July and from what we have witnessed so far, it is surely going to be cracker of contest.
